OUR LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Equipping grassroots leaders to address large systemic inequities and participate fully in the democratic process is at the center of everything we do.
Our members have access to and participate in local, statewide, regional and national training.
All our trainings are translated into Spanish/English, and are organized in small groups as well as in larger plenary sessions, and using a variety of teaching modalities (i.e. lecture, role plays, reading and discussion, case-studies, hands-on practice, individual reflection, experience of a local action, etc.)
Our leaders experience what it is like to think conceptually about their own leadership, the mission of their institutions as well as learning and practicing the skills necessary to act effectively on their values interests and more pressing needs.
